This is a different mix of a song I wrote with Raymond , with this version appearing here only and nowhere else.

Hope you like it! We normally don't do this style, so hopefully you guys will like it...

This is an awesome song. It brings back memories of the old Metroid games really, with a tight, claustrophobic feeling that makes you well aware that there's only one way to go - down. Further in the song the garbled guitars in the background start to get even more foreboding, the sense of impending doom it creates is excellent. Incredible work!

Thanks dude! We normally don't use electric guitar sounds in our songs, as it's hard to make it sound good, so that means a lot to me.

One little trick I learned...

Notice how the snare drums in part sound almost flanged? What you do is do a riff, and say the snare is in C4 and is a quarter note stretching from beats 4 thru 8 in a measure.  Humanize that riff. Then clone it. In the cloned riff, adjust the timing of the notes, so let's say the snare in the cloned riff is playing from beats 6 thru 10. Humanize it. Now when you play them in unison, the note offset make the snare sound completely different.

Wow, really powerful. Sounds oldskool, like Gorex said has an 8-Bit feel, kind of Metroidish/80's. Amazing work, loved the drum pattens and snares!

lol...that's actually why we chose the name. Actually, that's been a F2S trademark since the beginning, the jokey song titles. "See you later calculator", "Jungle Fever Blisters", "Willy Wonka & The Weapons Factory", "Octopus Inc", ect.
