We used MG2. I got the strange panning effect by highlighting the piano riff I made and using the "double sharp left and right" panning at 1/8 second and toggled the looping on. we used two different bass sounds... the B Slide (in electric bass) and the sub square ( or was it sub sine...cant remember) at   11 hZ.  Oddly enough,  the drums were from a premade riff (think it was 4 on the Floor), which is an extreme rarity for us.
